 Truth be told, i wasn't expecting much from this movie. I knew it was going to sell well,  I mean Leo? Tobey? Carrey?  Isla? Long Island? extravagant production and a matching classic book to match. Not to mention CALLAN MCAULIFFE was there in like ten freaking minutes. I just didnt expect it to appeal to me to the extent of making me want to purchase a paper back copy at the spur of the moment. This movie shall scar my soul for it crafted without any effort a commotion in my own boundless universe because honestly, that is all I have , through that motion my infinity stretches. 

 Nick Carraway, a Yale graduate moves next door to a mysteriously filthy rich Jay Gatsby in Long Island. Deep down Nick always had the intuition that he was being watched by the billionaire until one night he received an invitation into one of the profligate parties his neighbor holds.  Before he knew it , he had become the keeper of secrets of the inhabitants of Long Island.

I really hated Daisy in here for leaving everything that she smashes and being easily influenced by her philandering husband. As for Gatsby, despite being a bootlegger, i could say i really pitied the way his life tragically ended. He waited for daisy for five years, he reached out for that green light every night. He built his right across hers, if you don't consider that quixotic i don't know what it is.  Nick Carraway pushed me in this ditch when he looked out from that flat's window in New York, when he became enchanted with the inexhaustible variety of life.

The Host

I’m not really a twi-hard but I did watch every movie. I used to  be on Team Jacob ( I’m team Taylor NOW!!!!) , I guess things like these are bound to happen back when you’re in high school, none the less, I try to convince myself that I’m Completely pass   that. 

I had a hard time convincing myself to purchase a copy of the host because it involved ALIENS. I’m not really into that genre. Also, I was afraid that it would be similar to Bella’s story that centered in romance. I watched the trailer and I was completely blown! One of my weak points is  that I let the actors influence me in terms of novel-turned-movie books. I fancy Saoirse Ronan.  

I bought the book on march 1 and finished it on the 4th (829 pages). No matter how busy I am, I  always find time for my obsession. It’s innate I guess, I’m always fixated on what’s gonna happen on the next chapters. Anxiety develops and we all know that the instant solution for this is to give in to that compulsion. 

Melanie Stryder was one of the few humans left on earth when SOULS invaded. She’d rather be dead than let SOULS take over her body. The exact reason why she remained intact inside her body even when the WandeRER already occupied it. So it was like two persons inside one host. But that was not the end of it, as Melanie recalls her past life with JARED,  the WANDERER developed a humane love for him too.   It’s one of the most extraordinary love affair I’ve ever witnessed. Stephenie Meyer also brought a new perspective on what being a human truly means. It’s more than just being born as one but feeling like one even when you’re not. Ceasing and being born as one. Being human somehow falls in double effect. Is being called human negative or positive? Its complicated, not black and white this time. 

I was a little disappointed with the lack of mind blowing action scenes.  I was expecting cruelty if not from the souls, from the humans. I mean this is alienation! There should be unbearable death, suffering , hopelessness and pity. Scenes like this were kept at a minimal.

First of all, the main reason I’m watching this is because of ANNASOPHIA ROBB. She’s drop dead gorgeous and if we put Hollywood behind this, I think I’m becoming a lesbo. This is against all what I stand for, so where am I in all this? Let’s put it this way. I’m a girl, being one requires attraction to a male counterpart, which I still have. There are always exemptions to the rules so that one belongs to HER. To summarize it all, I’m a girl in anyway possible except when it comes ANNASOPHIA ROBB. 

Now that everything is crystal , let’s talk about this new show.

Are you a fan of sex and the city? And somehow you don’t find it appropriate due to the fact that they are in their late adulthood and their dilemmas are out of the question. So here is the perfect show for you! Carrie Bradshaw turns back to being a 16 y/o. Carrie just lost her mom, her sister is being a pain in the ass and she is the last virgin. As every single thing seems to be suspended, that's when Sebastian Kydd comes in. He’s too cool for school, and he finds her as an escape. She is also having an internship in Manhattan and by far, she is having a blast. Juggling her school, her family , her friends , her dream and her perfect guy, things seems to be falling in place…. Or are they?

The 1st semester is rolling the credits and i am left with time to waste. What would I use all those time for? Sleeping. Forever, if possible. I used to say, sleeping it off is a complete waste, you can get enough of that  once you're 12 feet beneath the ground, but now, I'm literally swallowing my words.

It's  French, I got interested in French films after watching LOL. It's a story about satiated desires. How it consumes you till you realize it's a sin. How you try to get back on track and fail. Juni,  transferred due to the death of her mother. All eyes were on hers. She possessed fragile beauty that somehow needed to be sheltered. But they didn't know what she needed, she didn't know it herself. And when she finally figured it out, death payed a visit and she had to ran away again.

How would you convince people of an unreal story? Back it up with some history. I didnt care who Abe was, where he stands in the civil war, how he died, why he ran or how he got where he was in the first place. After all, he was not our president so why bother reading about him? But that is what i did after watching this: scanned his bio. 

Privileged ( series)

Megan Smith is a writer who found her self tutoring filthy rich kids just before she dyed her hair red. This wasn't part of the plan, she was supposed to get herself a column of her own and write about people who matters. Instead she took a private plane, stayed in a huge mansion, re-united with her best friend, became a neighbor of a hot billionaire and be continuously pestered by evil Baker twins while convincing them to flip the pages of the "Great Gatsby".

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging

The movie was released last 2008. It’s a British comedy teen flick. It revolves around Georgia, a typical teen age girl who have dreams beyond her perceived status. When this was released I was in 3rd year high school but I have only watched it now that I’m a junior in college. I f I watched it then , it would have been better since I would still be into adolescent dilemmas, declining self - esteem , and boy band rock stars. Not that it doesn’t make me giggle now ( trust me It  does), it would have made a tiny impact in my high school life.






So Aaron Johnson, is the Britt bass player in the band Stiff Dylans but in real life he isn’t actually a member. I went on with my usual pattern, and found out that he is married to a forty five year old. I was horrified. I mean really? She practically snatched away his youth, they live 2 decades away, is that even possible or accepted? But I snapped out of it when I read this YouTube comment that says “Its his life, he’s happy””. Therefore I ended my phantasmal on this hot Britt.

About the band Stiff Dylans, they have this song “’ Ultraviolet”” and It was the only song in repeat for two whole weeks. What is up with me and bands anyway. I always find myself singing in rock music. Im a scanty girl and me singing rock songs with the urge to pick up my air guitar and take wicked guitar face to a whole new level sometimes surprises me.

Another hot guy from the movie,Tommy Bastow as Dave the Laugh. It's the dude Georgia used to get Robbie jealous. He was also in the film EXORcISMUS (201o?) . I always have that reaction. I watch a film, i forget. I watch another one, i say " that's the guy from ____________". Then I get mental.

I read the first book last night(angus, thongs and full frontal snogging).  Straight.  ( i cant even do that with NCM )

SUCK SEED

I’m not really a big fan of THAI movies although I enjoyed watching CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE ( I still don’t agree on the movie title), BANGKOK TRAFFIC LOVE STORY and screamed out my lungs in COMING SOON. So the newest so far is SUCKSEED, which is actually the name of the band consisting of this three crazy guys.
The setting is high school but it’s elementary roots was also showed in the movie. The movie was fun to watch. It had light romance, comedy and at the end it became a tear jerker ( I did cry a bit).

Well I’m glad I watched this because if I didn’t I wouldn’t know him :      PEACH

I googled him alright and guess what?
He’s 19. Born in 1993 , so hooray for me. He’s role was kind of annoying , he had a twin brother who was a guitarist in a band called ARENA and that’s when I decided that "damn this guy is hot””.
I know that a guy from movies catching my attention , googling about him, downloading numerous pix is already a cliché thing for me to do but it’s what occupies my time so I’m gonna continue doing my pattern until the world runs out of attention-worthy dudes. . I think he has an upcoming movie titled the BILLIONAIRE, I want to watch it, not just because he’s in it ( he’s just an added bonus, a very satisfying bonus anyway) but also because I think it can inspire me to struggle more In life. We, humans have different struggles in life, some lives each day at a time, some wants to live another day, some are consumed by vengeance and some live to observe and pity themselves for not having the life they think they deserve. I wish I can struggle more, I wish I can feel pain more, I wish I can see things in a completely complex manner. I want my eyes to be open. To strive till my soul lives my body. I know that it’s utterly insane to wish for something not good to happen to you but the bad things I think is part of life. That It can't be called life if at least once you didn’t feel like you wanted death to collect you and decay you to dust.

Nick Armstrong, the cold, handsome face of the dark-haired guy. His eyes, they were dark brown, the color of a mahogany furniture. They weren't unfriendly, exactly. Just-unimpassioned. As if nothing much touched this guy. He’ s special, moody most of the time but speciaL.

Faye Chamberlain.A big, beautiful girl, both tall and voluptuous. She had a mane of pitch-black hair and her pale skin was touched with the glow of confidence and power. Her poem indicated that she is not a person to mess up with.

 I cant swim , let alone surf. But Bethany Hamilton did it with one arm. How hard could it be? Sadly the place im located in doesn’t give us the opportunity to ride waves or paddle your way to it. Soul Surfer are those who surf for pure pleasure. Well it does seem like a very fulfilling hobby but the ocean kind of scares me. She lost an arm due to shark attack, I cant risk mine unless its guaranteed the there is zero dangerous body biting sea creatures in the area. She didn’t scream when she got bitten. it’s a true story so the real BETHANY HAMILTON is proof of a bold soul who surfed her way through the waves of her life.
ANNASOPHIA ROBB

She’s of my age. For a soon to be 18-year old she has done a lot and me who is merely following a path that is not solely for myself, I haven’t had my life to the fullest.  I have been watching her movies since CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and I find it rather amusing to see how she have grown. It’s like everybody else’s life continues to flow but I’m stuck with my butt glued to a chair. Or maybe it’s a gum.

 I watched this while we were reaching our deadline for our G and D paper works .
This movie takes place in high school ( which is obviously given, hello? Prom?) The love main love team is the top-of-the-class-girl and the hot-rebel-type guy. In movies, why do they always pair up the total opposite stereotype. I don't think it really occurs in real life. Maybe it's somewhat the director's duty to dissolve the invisible line of discrimination.

Honestly, the  main reason why I chose to watch this is due to this girl. Yup, I have watched her in starstruck and she didn't really leave a mark in any part of my brain. I decided to watch this because she's in it and she's Danielle Campbell (Callan's Celeb crush). To tell everyone that she isn't that great would make me bias so i'll just end my statement with , she still hasn't left a mark. but an aunt did commented that she was pretty and i was like WHAT? (don't say that when i'm around).

So this is what I've been telling you ,the whole opposite poles attract.

i like this scene! How the long term beau asked her. I havent witnessed this rate of drive so I think i'm entitled to conclude that this is nothing like real life, sorry.

Flipped.

When I first watched Flipped, I flipped. This was out last year but this film made "its better to be late than never" a sensible quotation, spectacularly sensible that is..
 I want to see how dazzling Bryce Lowski's  eyes really are. I mean Julie got her head spinning when she sees them, they seem to drown hatred and cause you to become ballistic. Bryce's character is kind of bi-polar, he could be a jerk but then he becomes caring but paired with cowardliness. 
 Julie Baker , is way deeper than a stalking neighbor, "Held above the earth, brushed by the wind ? Who in Junior High talks like that?" . Listening to her mind-talk wanted me to see the world in her eyes, to seek substance rather than whats superficial. 
Chet's character was like the bridge to everything. 

The thing about this movie is that its like a journal, it talks, not you, it just does and what every character feels reflects in your mind and in your heart. 
Callan was Alex's friend in "I AM Number Four" , I didn't see Bryce Loski there. I dont see Alex' hotness but Callan's nerdiness

I have evolved to a stalker, i was reading his bio and clicking on his vids. When I found he's sixteen, I was like oh no!! two years younger!!! YOUNGER, that'll make me a cougar... He's Australian, he seemed funny in his interviews and mature enough to be considered more than just a 16- old guy with a really compelling accent.
Oh My.... Its been two weeks and Im still Flipped. How do I get over this crazy obsession on this Aussie actor. I wish they teach that one on school or warn you just before the movie starts up that you may not be the same again. I have just read a novel "Parker Grey Show" by Kristen Buckley and I feel how Parker feels for M. The whole " I have watched your face too long and I think I love him crap ( not the offensive type), and I thought If I loved him which I dont because he's superficial ( on screen), everybody does too. 
But he has SUBSTANCE!!! How could a guy like that exist and worse he is freaking sweet sixteen. Why weren't you born @ least 2 years earlier? I just started my years of growth and development in the external environment of my mom when you were just a product a fertilized ovum in the ampulla portion of the Fallopian tube. God must have a reason for this, as he has on everything. 

This week was midterms but that didn't stop me from abusing the movie maker. Its my first, inspired by Flipped, do I even have to say that?

Koizora ( Sky Of Love)

I have watched the most heartbreaking movie so far in my 17 years of consciousness. Being oblivious in the sphere of LOVE. I find the love between the two teens as impossible to exist. But the freshness and the exploration of the girl's first love is.... lets just say sweetness would be an understatement. @ such young age doing their first coitus wouldnt be considered immaturity or passionate, it displays the feeling like its not a mistake but not entirely right= it got me hanging in the mid-air of pleasure and need. i cant determine if its out of love. Hiros's character is dynamic. It could be split several times. First being a punk who knows nothing but trouble. Second is a mystery which kind of displayed inferiority. Third justifiable and unjustifiable angst ( sword and shield). Fourth sincerity, his reactions @ different situations are not expected at all. 


Mika's character showed plainness @ first (what characteristic did Hiro saw?) but on the latter part she showed a few waves of strong judgement between being a fool or ceasing to be a fool. But her acting in the end was not very touching, I just felt a sense of responsibility.


I was crying, it made me feel alive!!!!!
